The panel sits inside a wide band of raised scrollwork that runs right around the oval, satin-finished so it frames the mirror-bright center. Leave the engraving field blank and the front stays plain polished, which is a good look in its own right. The locket is 32 mm tall, hinged on the left, and opens on two oval photo frames side by side. The back is a single panel of white mother of pearl, pearly with faint warm yellow and pink banding, held by a thin polished rim.

Can the photo wash off or fade?
No. The image is permanently encased inside the gemstone — water, sweat, and daily wear will not affect it. As with all fine jewelry we recommend removing before showering or swimming as a general care practice.
