Personalized Necklaces

Personalized necklaces from IFSHE are made-to-order pendants carrying the names, birthstones, engravings, or photos that matter most. The collection runs 81 designs, from CA$69.95, and spans intertwined-hearts birthstone pendants holding two to five names, Russian ring necklaces, and photo lockets. Designs are available in 925 sterling silver as well as stainless steel and other metals. The exact material for each design is listed on its product page.

Choose the details — we build the necklace around them, one order at a time.

How to Choose a Personalized Necklace

With 81 designs to sort through, start with what the necklace should carry. A name — hers, a child's, a partner's — points to personalized name necklaces or an engraved pendant. A family points to a multi-birthstone design: one gem per person, usually in birth order. A specific face or moment points to a photo locket, or a hidden-picture style from our photo projection necklaces.

  • Names and dates: engraved heart pendants and Russian ring necklaces with three to five interlocking circles
  • Family birthstones: intertwined-hearts and heart pendants holding two to five names and stones, with more month-by-month options in birthstone jewelry
  • Photos: heart and angel-wings lockets with a picture inside

If you are shopping for the shape rather than the detail, custom heart necklaces narrow the same range down to one silhouette.

What These Necklaces Are Made From

This collection is a mixed-metal one, and it is worth saying so plainly. 925 sterling silver is one of the materials used here; stainless steel, copper, brass, and other alloys are used as well, with selected designs finished in gold or rose-gold plating over the base metal. The exact material for each design is listed on its product page, and that line is the answer for the piece you are looking at — not the collection description you are reading now.

Because pieces are built to order, your names, stones, and engraving are worked into the pendant during the build rather than stamped onto a finished blank. That is also why personalized and engraved pieces are final sale: confirm spellings and birthstone months before checkout. The return and exchange policy spells out where the 60-day window still applies.

How to Read the Material on a Product Page

Metal wording in personalized jewelry is genuinely confusing, so here is how to read ours in about ten seconds. Open any design, scroll to the specification block under the description, and find the material line. It names the base metal in plain words: 925 sterling silver, stainless steel, copper, brass, or an alloy. That single line, not the marketing copy, is what you are buying.

Second, treat finish words and base-metal words as two different things. "Silver-tone", "silver color", and "silver-plated" describe the surface, not the substance underneath — a silver-plated brass pendant is a brass pendant. The same logic applies to gold and rose gold in this collection: those are plated finishes applied over the base metal named on the page.

Third, if a stone is named, we name the stone. You will see moss agate, moissanite, cubic zirconia, or a specific birthstone month, rather than an invented in-house stone name. Where a product page leaves you unsure, message us through contact with the design name and we will confirm the base metal before you order rather than after.

Photo Designs and Engraved Designs

The 81 designs split into two working methods, and they behave differently at checkout. Of the 81, 47 take a photo upload; the rest are engraved, name, or birthstone pieces built from what you type and select.

What you supply An image file from your phone or camera roll Typed wording, plus stone and metal choices
On the product page You upload your picture and drag it into place inside the pendant opening Fields are typed in and submitted as entered, with no on-screen rendering
Before it is built A person checks the image, and we come back to you if it is too small or badly cropped Wording goes to the bench exactly as you typed it, spelling included
Best for Weddings, new babies, memorial keepsakes Anniversaries, mom and grandma gifts, everyday initials

On the photo designs, you upload your picture on the product page and drag it into place, so you can see how it sits inside the pendant opening before you add it to the cart. That positioning step exists only on the photo designs. On the engraved and name pieces, read your wording back once before checkout — it is cut into the metal exactly as submitted, and personalized pieces are final sale.

Who These Necklaces Are For

The multi-name birthstone pendants are the signature gift for moms and grandmas: one stone stands for one child, and the open-heart and engraved-heart versions start from CA$69.95. Russian ring necklaces, with their interlocking circles, suit anniversaries and close friendships. Photo lockets carry weddings, new babies, and memorial keepsakes.

If you are unsure of her taste, a single engraved name or one birthstone is the safer choice among personalized necklaces for women — photo and multi-stone designs assume you already know the story she wants to carry. The birthstone finder settles the month-to-stone question in a few seconds, and personalized bracelets cover the same ideas for anyone who does not wear pendants.

Wearing and Caring for a Custom Pendant

These are everyday pieces, not occasion-only jewelry. Layer a birthstone heart with a plain chain, or let a locket sit alone at collarbone length. Engraving needs no special treatment — it is cut into the metal and wears as the metal does.

Care depends on the base metal named on the product page. To keep sterling silver bright, wipe it with a soft cloth after wear and store it dry, since silver tarnishes with air and skin oils. Stainless steel needs less attention and shrugs off humidity. Plated finishes are the ones to protect: keep perfume, hairspray, chlorinated water, and abrasive cloths away from them, because wear happens at the surface. Ordering, Shipping and Returns in Canada

Standard shipping is CA$9.95 and is free on orders over CA$139. Delivery takes 7–12 business days once the order leaves our studio, every parcel ships tracked, and the tracking number reaches you by email the moment it is dispatched. Order several pieces and they are combined into one shipment rather than arriving separately. Full detail sits on the delivery and shipping page.

Customs duties, taxes, or import charges that may arise during shipment are the purchaser's responsibility — we state that up front rather than at your door. What we do carry is our own mistakes: a wrong item, damage in transit, or wording that does not match your order is replaced or refunded in full, with no postage fees, restocking fees, or hidden charges.

Returns and exchanges run for 60 days from the date you receive your order. Custom-crafted pieces are the exception — because they are made to be as unique as you are, all sales are final on them, which is the one good reason to reread your spelling before checkout.

Questions About Personalized Necklaces

Are these necklaces solid sterling silver?

Some designs are. 925 sterling silver is one of the materials used across this collection, alongside stainless steel, copper, brass, and other alloys, plus gold and rose-gold plating over a base metal. The material line on any product page tells you which one you are holding, and that is the figure to trust.

Can I see my engraving on screen before I order?

No. Engraving and name fields are typed in and submitted as entered, with nothing rendered on screen, so proofread your wording before you check out — it goes to the bench exactly as you typed it. Photo designs work differently: you position your picture on the product page and see how it sits inside the pendant opening.

Can a personalized necklace be returned?

Custom-crafted pieces are final sale, so check spelling, dates, and birthstone months carefully. If the fault is ours — wrong item, damage in transit, or wording that does not match what you ordered — we replace or refund it in full and cover the postage both ways.

How long does delivery take within Canada?

7–12 business days from the moment the order leaves our studio, tracked the whole way, with the tracking number emailed to you at dispatch. Any customs duties, taxes, or import charges that arise are the purchaser's responsibility.

What happens to the photo I upload?

A person looks at it before the piece is built. If the file is too small, too dark, or cropped in a way that will not sit well inside the pendant, we contact you for a better one instead of building it and hoping.

Which design suits a mom with three children?

Frequently asked questions

How many names or birthstones can I add to a personalized necklace?

Most designs hold two to five names or birthstones — the intertwined-hearts pendants, for example, come in 2, 3, and 4-name versions, and the Russian ring necklace takes three to five circles. Each product page lists its exact capacity.

What is the difference between an engraved necklace and a photo projection necklace?

Engraving cuts a name, date, or message into the metal, visible at a glance. A projection necklace hides a photo inside a tiny lens — the image appears only when the pendant is held up to light. Both are made to order.

Are these necklaces real silver?

Some are, and the product page tells you which. Of the 81 designs, 22 state 925 sterling silver outright; the rest are built on stainless steel, copper or brass, often finished in gold or rose-gold plating. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver. Sterling silver is tarnish-resistant with basic care: wipe after wear and store dry.

Which birthstones should go on a necklace for mom?

The classic approach is one birthstone per child, arranged in birth order. For a mom with one child, some shoppers add her own birthstone alongside the baby's. Multi-stone designs here hold up to five gems.

Can personalized necklaces be returned?

Personalized and engraved necklaces are made to order and final sale, so double-check spellings and birthstone months before ordering. Non-personalized pieces qualify for 60-day returns and exchanges.
