Two butterflies, not one. The larger is set with cubic zirconia; the smaller is left plain and mirror polished. They sit at an angle on an open band made of two wires, one of which carries a line of small stones down the side.
Giving the pair different finishes is what keeps it from looking like costume jewelry - the polished one reads as silver, the set one as sparkle, and the eye moves between them instead of seeing a single flat motif. Both wires stay open at the back, so the ring flexes on and adjusts from about a 6 to a 9. It is 3.60 mm across the two wires and 1.35 g, which is enough presence for an index finger and still light on a pinky.
